So it has just been forever since I posted it seems, so I am getting it all done here in one sitting! This will be my last post of the night. My big Friday night, while Chris is out of town, and I am going to turn in at 10pm...pathetic!
Anyway, this Petting Zoo was really cool. It is in Irving and called Fritz Farm. And it's free! I met Amy/Rilee and Liz/Reed over there and we really had a fun time. There were goats (the kids could actually pet them), sheep, a baby cow, a peacock, a turkey, and a deer. There were 2 mama ducks guarding their eggs. The kids really seemed to enjoy it - it was actually a lot better than the zoo, at least for our current stage - just because the kids could reach out and touch things! And it was virtually empty except for us! We will definitely be going back - maybe a little earlier in the day (183 traffic on the way home put a little damper on the outing). What a fun day!
