Well, I had hoped to load some video of this big event, but have still not learned how to get the video from my camera to my computer much less from my computer onto the blog. So, the pictures will have to do. But it was just so cute. I resisted the urging from the grandmas to start giving them food at like 2 months, and held out until almost 6 months. They got their first rice cereal in mid-December, and they seemed to know just what to do with it. Next was avocado, which they love now, but it was not an instant hit. Charis gagged, spit it out and cried. Price was not so animated. I confess that when Kendra told me she was home-making all her baby food, I thought she was a total hippie, but I have adopted this and love it. I have so much fun making and trying new things - I have learned a lot about food myself during this journey! Who knew you could toast up the seeds from a butternut squash and they'd be so tasty??
